About Us
A Little About Happy Tots
Happy Tots, LLC was opened in 2003 with a simple idea. To provide a safe and loving environment for our own little ones and for parents who trust us with their Priceless Possessions, their Babies. From our humble beginning we have grown into a Program that has separate floors for our Infants and our Preschool Children to thrive and explore. This allows us to focus on exactly what each age group needs. We have a Curriculum that is based on a Reggio Philosophy, Which incorporates a love of Nature and Involving children with their Environment. We are affiliated with the Department of Education , 3K program , ACD and HRA so parents can receive care at an affordable tuition rate. We work closely with CACFP to ensure our meals and snacks meet the needs of our growing children. We have been featured on UWNYC and PIX11 news for our dedication to our children as well as honored by the UFT for our quality of care.
Happy Tots Curriculum
Here at Happy Tots we believe children learn best when all of their senses are engaged and stimulated. The first 3 years are the most important for brain development in children, these years will be the building blocks for their future. Ensuring their Emotional, Physical, Cognitive and Language development is continuous is essential to Their Future Development.
We include many activities for children who have sensory sensitivity. Activities such as sensory bins, quiet areas and calming toys ensure that children's emotional needs are met so they can then start moving forward on their Educational Path. We provide support to children who have delays and need extra support such as Speech, Physical or Occupational Therapy. We also partner with companies who provide services.
We provide the learning materials that we use with the children at no cost to our parents. We also provide some of the worksheets we use on our Facebook page so that parents can print them out to practice.
We are not just a Daycare we are one Big Family
We work closely with our Parents to provide maximum support for our little learners both at Daycare and at Home. We Include our parents in our many activities such as:
Thanksgiving Family Dinner, Christmas Shows,
Picture day, Our Family Pumpkin Picking Trip.
We collaborate with Parents to Celebrate Birthdays, We have our Annual Easter Egg Hunt which parents are invited to volunteer and enjoy a day of festivities,
We also conduct our own Farmer's Market which is a great way for children to be exposed to different types of fruits and vegetables.
Our Summer Program is packed with fun activities
Starting the second week of July until the last week of August.
Every week has its own special activity
We have our end of Summer Luau and
Fairly Land Party as two of our Summer's Main Events.
